On January 22nd, The Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational ran for the 10th time since in inception in 1984. The outer buoy peaked at 27.6 ft @ 19 seconds and by 4:00pm, on-duty North Shore lifeguard, Luke Shepardson was crowned champion.
