The MB Hybrid Series is a signature fin set line from surfer Matt Banting, produced by Shapers Fins. The medium-sized set is designed to enhance speed and provide a balance of pivot and drive, particularly in smaller, weaker waves.

The Shapers Fins MB Hybrid Medium fin set is made with Shapers Carbon Hybrid Technology, which utilizes a construction that creates a “unique tension flex” to release energy out of turns. 

  • Size: Medium. The recommended weight range for medium fins is typically 65–80 kg (143–176 lbs).
  • Template: The fins feature a slightly upright template for pivot and quick transitions, offering a blend of control and maneuverability.
  • Performance: The fin set is optimized for “fast and critical surfing,” including both airs and open-face carves. It also works well in sluggish conditions to generate speed.
