The Futures JC1 is a popular surfboard fin template designed by legendary shaper John Carper (JC Surfboards). Engineered for powerful surfers, it maximizes drive and rail-to-rail control in smaller, weaker waves.

- Size: Medium (ideal for surfers weighing 145 lbs to 195 lbs)
- Template Outline: Features a fuller tip combined with a refined, medium base. This allows the fin to hold securely through hard, powerful turns without washing out.
- Foil (V2): Utilizes a Vector II foil, which generates incredible lift and speed off the bottom and transitions to a flat foil in the tip for controlled, predictable release off the top.
- Construction: Most commonly found in Futures' Blackstix material, which uses a carbon fiber base and a springy, flexible tip for maximum acceleration and lively snap. It is also available in standard fiberglass for heavy-duty drive in solid surf.
